DHADING, Oct 12: An over speeding truck killed three people and injured another three at Manedanda, Thakre rural municipality-10, Dhading on Friday.

Of those deceased, two died on the spot while another passed away on his way to treatment. The truck (Ba 5 Pa 2418) was en route to Chakamake of Galchi from Thakre, Police Inspector Uddhav Pokharel of Area Police Office, Khanikhola said.

The deceased have been identified as Mahesh Tamang, 32, Savitri Tamang, 50, and Som Maya Tamang, 60, all from ward 10 of Thakre Rural Municipality.

Three others were injured during the accident. The total passengers on board the truck is yet to be confirmed. Earlier today, five people were killed and 49 injured in two separate accidents at Nuwakot and Sindhuli.
