RAJBIRAJ, Dec 14: Property worth over Rs 4 million rupees were destroyed in the fire that broke out in Tilathi Koiladi rural municipality-7 in Saptari district on Friday.
The fire started from the house belonging to Bindeshwar Safi, a local, before it spread to other 13 houses, informed Shatiskumar Singh, chairman of Tilathi Koili rural municipality.
The fire has destroyed three houses of Safi along with Rs 100,000 in cash and four animals.
The other houses destroyed in the fire are two houses of Siki Safi, two of Parsadi, two of Prayag Safi, two of Hanumani and one house of Majai Safi, said ward chairman Gulab Prasad Singh.
