KATHMANDU, Oct 17: The COVID-19 recovery tally of Province 2 has surpassed 12,000-mark.
As of Friday, of 14,620 cases of COVID-19 recorded across the province, as many as 12,272 patients have recovered and returned home. The death toll of the province stands at 159.
There are currently 1,689 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at various isolation centers.
According to the Provincial Health Directorate, the province witnessed the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the month of Bhadra since its first outbreak in Chaitra. More than 5,000 new cases were recorded in the month of Bhadra. The number was 92 in Baisakh, 919 in Jestha, 897 in Ashar, 3,054 in Shrawan and more than 2,000 in Ashoj.
