KATHMANDU, Dec 14: So far, 4,276 votes have been counted and Deuba has received 2,046 votes.
Similarly, another candidate Dr Shekhar Koirala got 1,615 votes and Prakash Man Singh got 335 votes. Similarly, Bimalendra Nidhi got 238 votes while Kalyan Gurung got only 20 votes.

Deuba has maintained his lead in the counting of votes for the post of Nepali Congress President that started on Tuesday morning at the National Assembly in the capital.
A total of 4,679 votes out of 4,743 delegates were cast in the polls held till 11:30 PM on Monday. PM Deuba, Shekhar Koirala, Bimalendra Nidhi, Prakash Man Singh and Kalyan Gurung are contesting for the post.
