The concert ‘Annapurna Autumn Orchestra Concert’ organized by Taleju Dhan Kumari Kosh concluded on Wednesday at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi.
The musical performance was held to inspire aspiring musicians. A total of 28 musical compositions from Nepal and foreign countries were performed.

The concert began with the Nepali and Norwegian national anthem, played by junior and senior orchestras. The one-day event was divided into two phases. The show witnessed altogether 11 compositions including Antonio Vivaldi’s ‘Winter’ and Nepali folk song ‘Machi Mara’ in the first phase.
Likewise, in the second phase, a total of 15 compositions including Shiva Sankar’s ‘Ma Mare Pani Mero Desh Bachi Rahos’ Ambar Gurung’s ‘Pohor Saal Kushi Fatda’ and Gopal Yonjan’s “Desh Le Ragat Mage’ were showcased.
According to the organizer, the practice of orchestra began in the fifth century in Greek. And, Nepal witnessed its first orchestra performance in 2009.
