KATHMANDU, Jan 3: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) has said the news disseminated by some media on Tuesday that the government has fixed the temporary capitals of the provinces has drawn its attention.

"Nobody should have the wrong impression about the fixing of the temporary capitals as no such decision as assigning places for carrying out the works of the province as per the Article 288 (3) of the Constitution of Nepal has been reached so far," Spokesperson at the OPMCM and Joint Secretary Hari Prasad Panthi said in a press release today.
