DADELDHURA, July 15: The only covered hall at Khalanga of Dadeldhrua was damaged after incessant rainfall. The covered hall was built in 2040 BS to organize a mini table tennis game.

Despite ample attempts to build the temporary hall stronger, the district’s sports bodies along with those at the center showed minimal interest, according to Rajendra Bahadur Magar, chairperson of District Sports Development Committee said.
“Post local level elections, elected representatives were congratulated in the very dilapidated covered hall and urged for timely maintenance, all to no avail. However, a year later, the hall’s plight is still the same,” Magar added.
