KATHMANDU, Dec 28: Only 18 people who took the shipbuilding examination in South Korea are eligible to apply for the manufacturing sector exam. The Korea Employment Permit System (EPS) branch had previously announced that candidates who took the Korean language test in other regions in 2023 could not apply for the manufacturing sector.

Following this notice, 18 people, including Suraj Pathak, a participant in the shipbuilding examination, filed a case at the Patan High Court, seeking permission to apply for the manufacturing sector examination. The case was filed against the EPS Branch, Department of Foreign Employment, and the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security.
