Online live story reading time for kids

Kathmandu

Are you worried that your children are getting bored and kind of depressed due to the current lock down situation? Then, how about letting your kids listen to fun stories online, where professionals such as teachers, writers, journalists and more come live on Storytime in Nepal's Facebook page at 3 pm and the livestreaming has garnered around 3000 viewers.

The live storytelling began on March 24. According to Rajeevdhar Joshi from Kathalaya Inc this is an initiative to help the children be stress free and reduce their fear by letting them listen to stories that would give them hope and assurance in life.

It has been six days now where a total of eight storytellers have read their favorite stories live on the Facebook page of Storytime in Nepal. Personalities such as Rupesh Shrestha, Krishnadeep Sigdel, Najir Hussian, Dil Bhushan Pathak, Shaswot Parajuli, among others have read different stories on this platform.

Storytime in Nepal is a livestreaming story reading platform created as Corporate Social Responsibility of Kathalaya Inc.
