RAUTAHAT, Nov 12: One policeman injured when two motorcycle-borne men from India hurled a bomb on Mathia police station located at Ishnath municipality-4 in Rautahat district on Tuesday afternoon.
Police constable Ranjit Yadav sustained injuries in the incident, District Police Office Rautahat said. The blast on the police station took place this afternoon.
According to police, Chandan Kumar, an Indian national hailing from the Dhaka area of the Indian state of Bihar was arrested in this connection. Another Indian national has remained absconding following the incident, police said.
A male goat also got killed due to the bomb attack in the incident.
The police have launched a probe into the incident. Further details of the incident are awaited.
The police station is located near the Nepal-India border.
