One Nepali man killed in Tuesday night's attack in Libya

KATHMANDU, July 4: One Nepali man was killed in the attack that took place on Tuesday night in the eastern part of Tripoli, the capital city of Libya.

KATHMANDU, July 4: One Nepali man was killed in the attack that took place on Tuesday night in the eastern part of Tripoli, the capital city of Libya.


The deceased has been identified as Santosh Shrestha who was brought to Libya by human traffickers who promised him to take him to Italy for employment.

The attack occurred at the Tajoura detention center in the eastern region of Tripoli, the capital city of Libya.


Shrestha was declared dead in a hospital, according to a press release issued by the Cairo-based Nepal Embassy.


The press release also states that the embassy is trying to collect other details about Shrestha who fell prey to human traffickers.
