KAPILVASTU, Aug 27: A COVID-19 patient passed away while undergoing treatment at Corona Special Hospital in Butwal on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as a 50-year old Shiva Kumar Kohar from Kapilvastu Municipality-1, according to the District Health Office, Kapilvastu. Kohar was taken to Butwal for further treatment on August 21 after he tested positive for COVID-19.

The man was also suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.
So far, three individuals have succumbed to COVID-19 in Kapilvastu district.
