One missing after jumping into Narayani River

CHITWAN, July 7:  A person has gone missing after jumping into the Narayani River.

CHITWAN, July 7:  A person has gone missing after jumping into the Narayani River.


A man estimated to be around 50/55 years old jumped off the Narayani River Bridge at Pulchowk, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 at 10:40 AM on Sunday. According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the identity of the person has not yet been ascertained.

A team of police, along with disaster management are currently conducting a search operation for the person. The river has swollen due to continuous rainfall causing difficulties in the rescue efforts.
