KATHMANDU, July 30: A person was killed while 14 others were injured when a jeep carrying pilgrims to Swargadwari temple met with an accident in Pyuthan district on Saturday.
The ill-fated passengers of the jeep with registration number Lu 3 353 were traveling from Swargadwari to Bhringi. The vehicle met with the accident at Bhyagute of Swargadwari Municipality-4 on Saturday afternoon.

Gudiya Thakur,32, and a resident of Mayadevi Rural Municipality-3, Rupandehi died on the spot in the accident, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Satya Narayan Thapa at the District Police Office, Pyuthan.
Nine out of 14 injured are in serious conditions. There were 17 passengers onboard the ill-fated vehicle, according to police.
