DOLAKHA, July 23: Chandra Bahadur Thami, 35, a resident of Lapilang VDC-7 died after being swept away by the Bhadrawati River.



Thami, who had gone missing since being swept away yesterday, was found dead at a place called Arubote of the Gumu River in the same VDC. Thami was returning home on Friday evening after planting paddy in his field when the incident took place, according to Police Inspector Binod Kumar Sunuwar of District Police Office.



Meanwhile, 33 household of the same Lapilang VDC have been forced to move to safer locations as a result of rising probability of landslide and floods. Families from Dorpa, Thangbaru, Khatrigaon, Gujarpa among others have left their homes for safety. RSS
