One dies in motorbike-truck collision

KHOTANG, Feb 25: A person died in a motorbike-truck collision on Saturday. 

Kamal Rai, 35, of Triyuga Municipality-2 died when a motorbike (Sa 4 Pa 4861) collided with a truck (Ba 2 Kha 5208) at Bahunidanda-5, Ratodanda in Khotang, police confirmed. 

Rai's spouse Pabi also sustained serious injuries in the accident, said Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at District Police Office, Nabin Kishor Pradhan. 

She is undergoing treatment at Ashtha Medical Hall at Harkapur in Okhaldhunga. 
Police said that the couple in a motorbike had met with the accident while returning home after offering worship at Halesi on the occasion of Shivaratri. RSS
