One die, 29 injured in bus accident in Ramechhap

RAMECHHAP, Oct 16: One person died and 29 others were injured in a passenger bus accident in Ramechhap on Tuesday.
The accident occurred when the bus (Ba 3 Kha 4075) en route to Galpa of Ramechhap skidded off the road and plunged some 50 meters down at Bhirpani in Khadadevi Rural Municipality in Ramechhap.
The 13-year-old girl died on the spot, according to police.
Among those injured, the condition of five is said to be critical. The injured are receiving treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital in Kavre. The police and local residents have been carrying out rescue operation.
