KATHMANDU, Dec 19: One person died and six others were injured in an accident involving a Scorpio in Ghandruk, Annapurna Rural Municipality-10 of Kaski.
Those injured have been brought to Manipal Teaching Hospital (MTH), Pokhara for treatment via Simrik Air helicopter. The Scorpio (Ga 1 Ja 6821), which was heading to Ghandruk from Pokhara, met with an accident at Batase Danda in Ghandruk this afternoon.
Nine injured in Scorpio accident in Palpa
Police informed that a woman, who was seriously injured in the accident, has died. The Scorpio was carrying seven individuals. The identity of the deceased has not been revealed yet.
The seriously injured individuals have been identified as Rihana Thakali of Pokhara, Jyoti Khatri of Mustang, Sima Kumari Khatri of Baglung and Namita Khatri. According to a report the accident occurred after the driver got out of the vehicle and the vehicle veered off the road.
