CHITWAN, April 17: One person was killed while another one was injured in a road accident happened at Jugedi of Chitwan along the Mugling-Narayangadh road section today. 

The accident took place when a truck (Na 5 Kha 3725) heading to Birgunj from Kathmandu hit a bike (Na 12 Pa 7115) at the place. 

According to police, the deceased has been identified as the pillion rider on the motorcycle Indra Aryal, 48, of Pokhara Metropolis. The injured is motorcyclist Krishna Prasad Aryal, 53, of the same locality and is undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College. 

Police have impounded the truck and arrested truck driver for further action. RSS
