KATHMANDU, May 8: A youth has died and another person has been injured after three vehicles collided with each other in Tathali, Changunarayan Municipality-8, Bhaktapur.
According to the Bhaktapur District Police Office, a motorcycle (Ba 91 Pa 8412), heading from Chyamasingh toward Nala, hit a scooter (Pra 3–02–014 Pa 5043) coming from the opposite direction.
At the same time, another motorcycle (Ba Pra 02–036 Pa 5327), traveling from Nala toward Chyamasingh, lost control and crashed into the scooter.

The police have reported that the scooter rider, Rijun Phuyaju,17, from Sudal, Changunarayan Municipality–9, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Madhyapur Thimi Hospital.
The motorcycle rider, Ijar Alam, originally from India and currently residing in Banepa, Kavrepalanchok, is in police custody along with the involved vehicles at the Jagati Police Station.
Similarly, another motorcyclist, Bire Tamang, 40, from Shivapuri Rural Municipality-2, Nuwakot, who is currently residing in Gokarneshwor, Kathmandu, has been injured. He is receiving treatment at Khwopa Hospital in Chyamasingh, according to the police.
The Bhaktapur Police Range has stated that further investigations into the accident are ongoing.
