One killed as SUV plunges off road in Syangja

SYANGJA, June 8: A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday when an SUV, belonging to the District Coordination Committee of Syangja, veered off the road in Arjun Chaupari Rural Municipality, resulting in the death of one individual.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Amrit Khanal from Waling. According to Rabindra Khanal, the Information Officer at the District Police Office in Syangja, Khanal was driving the SUV with the license plate number Ba 1 Jha 5878.

Furthermore, District Coordination Officer Rajendra Paudel, Tikaram Paudel, the Supervisor of the Nepal Electricity Authority, and Ambika Paudel sustained injuries in the unfortunate accident.
