One dead, 11 injured in bus accident in Saptari

SAPTARI, June 23: A man died while 11 people were seriously injured in a bus accident in Saptari today.

The man who died was around 55 years old and his identity could not be ascertained by the police.

The bus was traveling from Biratnagar to Katari when it fell 20 meters down from the road. Among the injured, Man Bahadur Tamang, 70, of Katari-3, Udaipur and his wife Bishnukumari Tamang, 69, have been taken to Biratnagar as their condition is critical. Saptari police said that they were searching for the bus driver who was absconding.
