KATHMANDU, March 1: In collaboration with K Foundation Global, Kalpa completed a one-day free cervical cancer camp in Barahakshetra Municipality, Sunsari.
Puja Koirala, the founder of Kalpa, said that 148 women were given free health check-ups related to cervical cancer during the one-day cervical cancer camp. She said that when they conducted a checkup on 148 women, cervical cancer was found in nine women, uterine cancer in seven women and breast cancer in two women.

She said that the age of 148 women who underwent free health check-up was between the age group of 30-40. Koirala said that in order to treat more women with cancer, Kalpa will collaborate with the hospital to treat women whose economic condition is too weak.
