On-duty policeman found dead in Salyan

DANG, March 29: Pawan KC of Musikot-13, Chiwang, West Rukum, a police constable working at the Salyan Area Police Office, Srinagar, has been found dead.

KC, who was on-duty at the main entrance of the office from 10PM to 2PM last night, was found dead in the morning, according to police. Police Inspector Arjun Poudel said that KC's body was found in a ditch near Bhagwati Khola near the Area Police Office.

A local woman found the body and informed the police today morning. Police have estimated that he may have died after falling from a 30-meter cliff.

Further investigation is underway.
