KATHMANDU, May 24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has summoned a Standing Committee meeting of CPN-UML on Tuesday.

The meeting has been scheduled to be held at 4PM today at Oli’s residence at Baluwatar.
The meeting will be focused on the upcoming budget, Sudurpaschim Provincial government and clarification sought from some of the party members, said Sher Bahadur Tamang, UML office secretary.
“The meeting will also seek clarification from those UML lawmakers signing in the writ petition to be filed against the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) at the apex court by the opposition parties today,” he added.
A standing committee meeting held earlier on Saturday had sought clarification from 11 party members including senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jalanath Khanal. Today is the last day to submit the clarification.
