The two chairmen of the ruling NCP have seen each other after 11 days
KATHMANDU, Oct 31: Amid growing intra-party rift within the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), the party’s chairmen duo Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Puspha Kamal Dahal held a meeting at Baluwatar on Saturday.
Dahal and Oli met each other after 11 days as the intra-party row has intensified in recent days. The last time they met each other was on Oct 19.
Earlier, PM Oli and Senior leader of NCP, Madhav Kumar Nepal also held separate meetings twice.
Dahal, after meeting Nepal at Khumaltar on Saturday morning, headed for Baluwatar to meet Oli.
According to Bishnu Sapkota, Dahal’s press advisor, Dahal reached Baluwatar at around 1 pm today.
NCP lawmakers had been urging the two chairmen to hold a meeting and settle the intra-party disputes at the earliest.
