NUWAKOT, April 10: The Central Project Implementation Unit has sacked eight officials deployed in Nuwakot for housing reconstruction on the recommendation of the District Project Implementation Unit, Nuwakot. Seven engineers and a sub-engineer were relieved of their posts for their failure to execute the assigned responsibility.
The officials deployed to provide assistance and counseling to the earthquake survivors for housing reconstruction were sacked from their posts on a charge of seeking money from beneficiaries and misconducts, according to Chief of District Project Implementation Unit Bidur Khadka.
Engineers Basanta Ghimire, Shesh Narayan Bhandari, Dhruba Raj Kharel, Ramji Shrestha, Rijan Aganja, Shekhar Jha, Radhakant Shah and sub-engineer Nabaraj Sharma Chapagain were relieved of their posts. RSS
