Five travel destinations that you mustn’t miss out on.

Muscat Oman

Due to its more influential neighbors (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), Oman is often overlooked as a worthy travel destination but ascribed by the latest advancements, its capital – Muscat, has a lot to offer to travellers. Muscat is full of houses and buildings shaped like a dome and with arabesque windows that demonstrate its culture. The city enforces very strict building policies due which all parts of it always look clean, pristine, and quaintly stable. This explains why it has been cited as one of the most elegant towns in Asia with very fine houses. The newly opened National Museum of Oman, Royal Opera House, the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Al Bustan Palace all add nicely to the city’s exquisite beauty.

Hamburg Germany

The second largest city in Germany, Hamburg has been dubbed as the “Venice of the North”. The port in Hamburg is one the biggest ones in Europe. The city is also known for its fish sandwiches and fish market, the Submarine Boat 434, freshly brewed coffee from the coffee roastery and landmarks like Elbphilharmonie – one of the largest and most advanced concert hall in the world, Town Hall, Miniatur Wunderland – the largest model railway in the world and St. Michaeli’s Church. The Alter Elbtunnel (more commonly known as Elbe Tunnel), Warehouse District, International Maritime Museum and Rathausmarkt are some of the other places you must visit while in the city.

Lake Lucerne Switzerland

Located in central Switzerland, Lake Lucerne has a very unique shape with several sharp bends and four arms. It has been described as the lake with the greatest scenic variety in Europe and quite possibly the world as well. This freshwater fjord offers a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains as well. The recent opening of lavish resorts and hotels in the city of Lucerne has made the visit to Lake Lucerne all the more pleasant. This area is also renowned for its medieval Altstadt (Old Town), extraordinary music, crossed bridges, bright and colorful buildings and houses, vivacious malls and waterside boulevards. There’s a lot for you to explore and enjoy here. 

Todos Santos Mexico

Located at the intersection of Sierra Laguna mountains, Pacific Ocean and the desert, this Mexican city is a destination you definitely do not want to miss out on. Todos Santos has an eccentric blend of locals, surfers, fishers and New Age spiritualists. This laid-back bohemian beach town is bursting with art galleries, craft shops, romantic restaurants, cactus gardens and surfing stands. The town of “All Saints” is arguably the prettiest town situated far south of Baja. Todos Santos is also a Pueblo Mágico – one of the 100 small towns prized for its natural beauty, cultural riches, or historical relevance. This city is also gradually transitioning into a big center for tourism in the country.

Detroit Michigan

Due to the recent updates throughout the city with new hotels, residences, restaurants, prospering local businesses, and new trade spaces, Detroit is being called America’s greatest comeback city. This lively, resonant and walkable city is situated on the bank of the Detroit River. It is known for its nightlife, outstanding cultural institutions, music, restaurants, major league sports teams, and fun family activities and places alike. The murals, markets, greenways, bike shops, sports arena located downtown, the newly constructed streetcar, breweries and world-class food are some other magnetic attractions that this city offers. With all of these in place, Detroit is bubbling with a contagious, fresh and positive vibe.
