BANIYANI, June 28: An elderly citizen has died in course of casting his vote in the second phase of the local elections here.
The deceased has been identified as 85 – year – old Narendra Bhandari of Himali tole in Damak Municipality – 9, according to Area Police Office, Damak.
Bhandari had gone to cast his vote at Saraswoti Higher Secondary School. He was heading to cast his vote after taking the ballot paper when he suddenly became ill and died at 7:40 am while being rushed to the Damak – based Lifeline Hospital. Bhandari is a heart patient. RSS
