NVC recommends action against 530 government employees

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: The National Vigilance Centre has recommended action against 530 government employees not following the office time and uniform.

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: The National Vigilance Centre has recommended action against 530 government employees not following the office time and uniform. 


Among them, action has been recommended on 318 employees not reporting to work in the exact office time and on 162 employees not wearing the designated official dress, Centre’s spokesperson Bishnu Raj Lamichhane said.

NVC had monitored at 140 offices since July 17. Lamichhane said the Centre has directed the chiefs of the offices concerned to take departmental action against the employees found at fault. 


The Centre had recommended departmental action against 2,340 government employees for not following the office time and dress in the last fiscal year after monitoring 1,140 offices in 52 districts across the country. 


Meanwhile, the people’s representatives at 237 local level have not yet submitted their property details to the Centre. All the employees and the people’s representatives, as well as office holders, are required by law to submit their property details to the Centre every fiscal year. RSS
