KATHMANDU, Aug 25: At least 15 persons were injured after a passenger bus en route to Kathmandu from Kanchanpur met with an accident at the Bharatpur-29 along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section on Sunday morning. All those injured are currently treatment in Chitwan.


The bus with the registration number Su Pra Pra 02 001 Kha 1332 was involved in the accident at around 7:15 AM.

Inspector Nirala Bhandari at the Area Police Office in Mugling informed Republica that the bus lost control and crashed. "Rescue operations are currently underway," she said. All the injured have been sent to Bharatpur, Chitwan for treatment. 


It is said that the condition of the two injured persons, who are currently undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College, is critical.


The bus with the registration number Su Pra Pra 02 001 Kha 1332, heading to Kathmandu from Kanchanpur, was involved in the accident at around 7:15 AM.


The bus met with the accident after driver lost control of the bus.
