KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The National Sports Council (NSC) on Sunday felicitated 169 players with cash prizes for winning international medals in the fiscal year 2071/72.

The NSC distributed a total of Rs 1,237,800 to the players. 62 players were awarded with Rs 10,000 each for winning gold medals, while 30 players received Rs 7,500 each for bagging silver and 77 players got Rs 5,100 each for bringing home bronze medals.
NSC Member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista distributed the prizes to the players during a program organized at the semi-covered hall of the NSC, Tripureshwar.
