KATHMANDU, April 13: Shova Gyawali, the director of Nepal Republic Media (NRM), has been elected as a member (commodity) of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI).
Director Gyawali won the election by securing 72 votes. She was elected as a member from the panel of Senior Vice President candidate Anjan Shrestha.
Gyawali, who has been a member of Federation of Women Entrepreneurs' Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) for a decade and a half, had given her candidacy for a central member with the commitment to take initiatives to promote entrepreneurship.
Gyawali is also the president of the Nepal Philippines Chamber of Commerce. She has been an executive member, general secretary, vice president of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs and is currently serving in the role of senior vice president. Gyawali has also been a member of the South Asian Women's Development Forum.
