In a statement issued by NPU general secretary Ajaya Babu Siwakoti today, NPU also demanded action against the guilty.
A group of six unidentified persons attacked Bishwokarma, who works for Himalaya Times daily and is also NPU central member, in mid Baneshwor at around 9:30 pm at night on Monday while returning home from the office.
The attackers also looted Bishwokarma's wallet, some money and some documents, it has been reported.
Bishwokarma was advised to take rest by doctors involved in his treatment, the family said. RSS
