Norway's concerns towards Nepal's development

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Norwegian ambassador to Nepal Kjell Tormod Pettersen has called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at latter's office Singh Durbar today. 

Prime Minister Dahal praised the Norwegian support and informed the ongoing progress in implementation of the constitution, reconstruction works in post quake projects and economic development in the country. 

PM's private secretariat has stated that PM Dahal shared with ambassador that Nepal has got a progressive constitution through the seven-decade long struggle of the people for the same. 

Similarly, ambassador Pettersen assured PM Dahal to continue her support to Nepal saying that she thanked Nepal as it was positively evaluated her role played during the peace process in Nepal. 

World Bank ready to tie up partnership in reconstruction projects 

Meanwhile, World Bank's country director Qimiao Fan has called on PM Dahal at latter's office Singh Durbar today itself. 

On the occasion, PM Dahal thanked the World Bank for its support to Nepal. Quoting the PM Dahal, his deputy assistant secretary Manhari Timilsina talking to RSS shared that

Nepal was ready to tie up partnership with World Bank in higher education, physical infrastructure, health and reconstruction projects. 

Prime Minister Dahal urged Fan to ease the WB's policy regarding to post quake reconstruction projects in Nepal expecting to ease the reconstruction process as per the national policy regarding to this. 

Similarly, director Fan shared that WB will continue its support in energy, hydropower and solar energy sectors in Nepal.
