KATHMANDU, Nov 18: Norvic International Hospital has bagged the 'Business Excellence in Health Care” award, a global recognition conferred by the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB), Texas, USA under the Bizz Award.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, handed over the award to the Managing Director of Norvic, Megha Chaudhary, amidst an award ceremony held in Kathmandu on Friday, according to a statement issued by the hospital.

Norvic said it has also been recognized with the elite membership of WORLDCOB. The membership was conferred to the chairman of the hospital, Basant K Chaudhary.
According to the statement, the WORLDCOB selected Norvic for consistently exceeding the evaluation criteria set in their businesses excellence questionnaire such as business leadership, quality of services, effective and quality management system, innovation and creativity, corporate social responsibility (CSRs), rich milestones, practices of good medical ethics, patient safety and infection control mechanism and the excellent results achieved in the field of preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic and curative medical care in Nepal.
