KATHMANDU, Nov 27: Hits Nepal Pvt Ltd announced the nominations for the 21st edition of Hits FM Music Awards on Saturday.
The annual music award has 17 award categories including best new artist, best song originally recorded for a motion picture soundtrack, best vocal collaboration, best female pop vocal performance, best male pop vocal performance, best performance by a group or duo with vocal, folk record of the year, best pop/rock composition, best arrangement, best composition, best rock vocal performance, best female vocal performance, best male vocal performance, album of the year, song of the year and record of the year.

Meanwhile, Hits FM also honors one music personality with the lifetime achievement award every year. Started in 1995, the Hits FM Music Awards 2017 is the first music awards organized by a private company on a national level.
This year band ‘Mental Radio’ is nominated for six categories and the nomination has been done according to the registration of songs from Baishak, 2073 BS to Chaitra, 2073 BS.
