Following the direction by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies regarding the issue, the NOC has issued a letter directing the concerned oil storages across the country to investigate the issue and take action accordingly.
The state oil monopoly also wrote in a press statement directing the blacklisted petrol pumps to not replace the dispensing nozzles and meter readers until the investigation is complete.
Responding to the media news regarding the issue, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies today dwelled on the issue and directed the NOC to look into the issue immediately.
