KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has adjusted the price of petroleum products.
According to a press statement released by the spokesperson Birendra Goit, the state-owned petroleum monopolist decided to increase the price of petrol by Re 1 per liter, diesel and kerosene by Rs 0.50 per liter whereas NOC has slashed the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 25 per cylinder.

Now, the price of petrol will cost Rs 109 per petrol, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 97 per liter and LPG will cost Rs 1,375 per cylinder.
The new rates will come into effect from Wednesday midnight. The fuel prices were revised in the line with the price list forwarded by Indian Oil Corporation, NOC’s sole supplier, the statement reads.
