POKHARA, May 30: The wreckage of the 9N-AET twin-engine aircraft of Tara Air that crashed at Thasang-2 Sanosware in Mustang has been found. According to Inda Singh of Dana, Myagdi, who reached the crash site, the plane was found in a completely damaged condition.
Singh, who was on his way to clear a blocked road, found out that the plane had crashed. He had reached Kobang, an area near the crash site, and stayed there last night.

Singh said there was no fire on the aircraft. The aircraft could have met with an accident after hitting a cliff nearby. “All the passengers on the aircraft are found dead,” he said.
Although the bodies are intact no one is likely to be found alive. “This is probably because the fire did not start. The dead bodies are intact and the faces of all victims are recognizable,” he said. “We have collected about 12 bodies so far.”
Singh said that there is a problem in collecting the remaining bodies as they are in a nearby ditch. He complained that security personnel did not arrive at the crash site as they did not believe the information given by local shepherds.
