Unified Socialist Chair Nepal rules out possibility of unity with UML

Addressing a unification program between his party and the Communist Party Unification Campaign led by Bamdev Gautam at the Rastriya Sabha Griha in Kathmandu on Friday, Nepal made this remark.

KATHMANDU, July 18: Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has stated that there is no possibility of party unification with the CPN-UML.



Addressing a unification program between his party and the Communist Party Unification Campaign led by Bamdev Gautam at the Rastriya Sabha Griha in Kathmandu on Friday, Nepal made this remark.

“We don’t need to hold special attachment toward anyone. If you ask about possibilities, there is no possibility of unification with UML at present. Let me be clear from this point — there is no chance of unity with UML. We’ve observed the state of UML ourselves. If anyone still maintains ties with them, I have nothing more to say,” he stated.
