No penalty for Nepal Telecom’s overdue bills if paid by mid-November

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Nepal Telecom has decided to offer a penalty waiver for customers who have not paid their bills for services used.


According to Nepal Telecom's Central Revenue Department, customers who have not paid their bills for landline, GSM, CDMA, ADSL, FTTH, and leased line services will receive a penalty waiver if they settle their outstanding payments within the specified time.

Nepal Telecom has stated that if customers pay their outstanding dues up to the fiscal year 2021/22 by mid-November, all penalties will be waived. Similarly, if the dues for the fiscal year 2022/23 are paid by mid-November, a 50 percent penalty waiver will be granted.


Nepal Telecom has warned that the names of customers who fail to pay their outstanding old dues will be published in newspapers or included in a blacklist.
