No one will be transferred with prejudice: Minister Modi

KATHMANDU, March 23: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Amanlal Modi has made it clear that the ministry will not transfer anyone with prejudice.


Addressing the fifth departmental session of the Nepal National Employees Organization, Minister Modi said that the situation within the civil administration will be improved.

He said, "The situation in the civil administration needs to be urgently improved."


Stating that there is a growing complaint that employees are more active in politics than public service, Modi directed them to prioritize service to the general public.


"You may be close to one of the parties in terms of beliefs and ideas, but I want to say that our only purpose is to serve the country and the people," he said.
