At a news conference organised by the Madhesi Journalists´ Society, Banke, here today, Thakur said that it was happy to start necessary processes by the government for election, and added that the government should declare the date for CA election soon by bringing the dissenting parties on consensus. Stating that CA election was indispensible for ending the transitional period in the country, he said the CA will finalize the theoretical aspects of the constitution building even if it was not finalized before CA election.
Responding to a query, Chairman Thakur clarified that there was no any kind of foreign interference in politics in the country and expressed the view that we should not think it as foreign interference if two neighbouring countries—India and China take interest in the country´s politics.
Saying the party is in favour of one Madhes as an autonomous province, he said there could be two provinces in Tarai if there was consensus among political parties.
Thakur further said that there was no danger of regression in the country as people rumor.
