KATHMANDU, June 18: Nepal Medical Association has stated that its attention was drawn over the arrest of the doctors at different places in the country.
In a statement it issued today, the association noted that the responsible state body could carry out the investigation following the due process; however, the investigation process seems intolerance towards health institutions.
The association general secretary Dr Muktiram Shrestha has said that the arresting the doctors handcuffing them from the workplace was against the ethics and disrespect to the profession as well.
He urged the government not to carry out inhuman treatment against the doctors in the name of investigation. RSS
