Nirmal Purja’s documentary ‘14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible’ nominated for Emmy Awards

KATHMANDU,

The popular Netflix Nepali documentary ‘14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible’ directed by Torquil Jones has been nominated for the Emmy Awards.

The documentary follows a plan ‘Project Possible’ of  Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja and his team as they attempt to climb all of the world’s 14 highest peaks of altitude greater than 8,000 meters within a record time of under seven months.

The film has been selected for Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series and Special Genre.  Music Composer Nainita Desai has been nominated in this category.

The documentary streamed through Netflix on November 29, 2021, also has been featured in the Top Ten documentary.
