KATHMANDU (REPU-BLICA): The resignation submitted by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NIC Asia Bank, Laxman Rijal, has been accepted by the bank's board. Deputy CEO of the bank, Roshan Kumar Neupane, has been appointed as its acting CEO.

Issuing a press statement, NIC ASIA Bank said that hit promoted Neupane in recognition of his important contribution for achieving the long-term interest of the bank. The bank currently serves more than a million customers through its 184 branches and 187 ATM counters spread across the country, the statement read.
