NHS and NMB bank sign agreement to conserve national heritages

KATHMANDU, May 19: An agreement has been reached between Nepalese Heritage Society (NHS) and NMB bank to conserve and promote national heritages. The agreement was signed by NHS President Ambica Shrestha and Chief Executive Officer of NMB Sunil KC at a function held at Dwarika Hotel.

KATHMANDU, May 19: An agreement has been reached between Nepalese Heritage Society (NHS) and NMB bank to conserve and promote national heritages. The agreement was signed by NHS President Ambica Shrestha and Chief Executive Officer of NMB Sunil KC at a function held at Dwarika Hotel.


Stating that cooperation is needed not only for the preservation of heritage but also for the preservation of culture and art, President Shrestha said that various programs related to heritage conservation and promotion will be organized in the coming days in collaboration with the bank.

Shrestha said that not only culture, art, heritage, festivals but also the environment is equally important along with the protection of heritages. Stating that there is a challenge to work alone in the upcoming projects, Shrestha said, “Cooperation is needed today for a clean, cultural and environmentally friendly country.” 


According to President Shrestha, NHS has been organizing various programs every year on the occasions of World Heritage Day and World Tourism Day. She said that they plan to organize similar programs also on World Environment Day.
