New Indian envoy pays courtesy call on PM

KATHMANDU, March 30:India's new ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri, today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

KATHMANDU, March 30:India's new ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri, today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'. 


During the meeting held at the PM's official residence, Baluwatar, PM Dahal, stating that Nepal and India have close relations, wished for a successful tenure of the Indian ambassador, PM's Private Secretariat said.

This was the first meeting of the Indian Ambassador with PM Dahal since the former assumed his office. 


Likewise, Puri said his role as the ambassador would be in consolidating the bilateral ties existing between the two countries further and he was happy for getting an opportunity to serve his country as the ambassador for Nepal. RSS
