NAWALPARASI, Feb 18: Houses have been built for 15 poor backward Musahar households at Amaltari village of Kawasoti Municipality-15 in the district.
In the first phase, the five newly built houses were handed over to the households amid a programme in the district.
Out of the 15 newly constructed houses, 10 were built under housing programme for the poor launched by the municipality, and five under landlocked programme initiated by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The municipality and the WWF have funded the project.
The project aims to help those poor households affected by wild animals straying from nearby forests, said Deputy Mayor of the municipality Prem Shankar Mardaniya Tharu. RSS
